I'm a huge fan of cinnamon rolls, I always liked them... Plain, with cream cheese, with raisins, with walnuts, with chocolate... YUM! All of these versions taste wonderful!! So feel free to add whatever satisfies your tastebuds!

Cinnamon Rolls Recipe
Serves: 16 rolls
Ingredients
Rolls:
- 3/4 cups fresh milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup butter (softened)
- 1 egg
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 1/4 cup powdered white sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Frosting:
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Heat milk in a small saucepan until it bubbles, then remove from heat.
- Mix in butter and stir until melted. Let mixture cool until lukewarm.
- In a bowl mix flour with sugar, salt, yeast.
- Stir in flour 1/2 cup at a time. Mix well.
- When dough becomes thick, knead for 5 minutes on a floured surface.
- Put dough in a medium sized bowl and let it rest for 15 minutes (covered with a damp cloth)
- In a small bowl mix brown sugar with cinnamon and butter.
- Roll out dough, and spread cinnamon mixture into it.
- Roll up dough and pinch seam to seal.
- Cut the huge roll into 16 equal rolls and place into lightly greased muffin pan with cut side up.
- Cover tray with a damp cloth until the rolls double in size (about 30 minutes).
- Bake in a preheated pan for 15 to 20 minutes or until rolls are golden.
- Stir together cream cheese with butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk. Spread frosting over warm rolls and serve.
